This one's kinda important, considering the mother is old enough to be the kid's mom (just started adult), but the father is CERTAINLY not old enough to be the kid's dad (biologically - just started YA). In the past, I've had sims remarry and the game understood step family well. It showed the son as being his son, not step-son. When she got engaged (NOT EVEN MARRIED), the genealogy section showed her fiance as being the kid's father. So everything was fine (the genealogy section showed the son as having no father) until she got engaged.
She was intended to be a single mom, THEN find a husband later.
